Welcome to
Red Lion Inn

One of Exeter's favourite locations for catching up with friends or family...

The Red Lion Inn is a picturesque 15th Century National Trust Building. It’s set back, just off the main road, tucked away next to the church, with outside seating on the ancient cobbles and a secluded beer garden. The inside is full of rustic charm with inglenook fireplaces & exposed beams. It’s an independent family owned & run pub, with excellent pub food & top quality real ale.

We have a reputation for excellent quality home cooked food. For those with a smaller appetite, our light eater’s menu proves very popular especially lunch times, allowing room for a pudding.

Sunday lunches are very popular, when you order a full-sized Sunday roast we make sure you don’t go away hungry, our waiters will offer you more vegetables, potatoes & gravy.

We have our customers firm favourites on our main menu, and we keep our menu interesting by changing dishes with the seasons, featuring fresh fish, locally produced meat & seasonal vegetarian dishes.
